Through this project, we hope to connect the youth to the seniors through various activities. Ask us about "Tech Talks" and our "Dance with Us" & "Let's Play Housie" Initiatives! We truly believe it provides an opportunity for both groups to learn new skill sets.

We are collecting gently used school supplies and clothes, to send to underprivileged children around the world. We have previously shipped to India, Philippines, Uganda, and the Dominican Republic. Due to the success of last year's event, we have decided to host a second learning and education day, now known as Kareer Day this year. This event is open to all students, grades 6-12 and is part of our Konnekting Kareers project! Students will receive insight from various industry-leading professionals on potential career pathways. Attendees will also have the chance to interact with them and ask them any questions. This year's event will take place on May 22, 2022 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM EST via Zoom. Last year, for the holiday season, we collected over 250 boxes of home-baked cookies for children, frontline workers, and senior citizens. This year we hoped to top that number! We recruited talented home cooks from all over the area to bake holiday-themed cookies that were packaged into festive gift boxes, which were then dropped of to us to be prepared for delivery. Finally, we personally delivered the cookies to all of our partnered organizations.

So many seniors don't get a single call from their friends or family. We launched a special project called Konnekt Kards last year during the pandemic, and we had people write and design letters/cards. Small gestures like this have made their day really special!
