In America alone, 48 million people experience food insecurity annually. In an attempt to combat this, Konnekt Kafe provides home-cooked meals made by our volunteers to community kitchens in NJ and NYC every weekend. We hope to bring food to people in need and smiles to their faces, and even YOU can contribute by signing up to cook a dish or deliver food.
Konnekt Kafe also holds in person special services 4 times a year, twice on Holi and twice on Diwali, with a mission to spread culture along with good food!

We live in a world that has become more connected than ever through resources such as technology, yet millions of senior citizens still experience chronic loneliness every day. Through Konnekting Generations, we hope to connect our youth with senior citizens through various activities. We go to senior homes and host monthly holiday/cultural events, performances, games days, arts and crafts activities, and much more! We also provide tech help through our Tech Talks, both in group settings and individually based on whatever is needed. We truly believe these events provide an opportunity for different generations to learn new skill sets.
Please reach out (through our email or to 201-701-3264) if your town or centers would be interested in having us set up a similar outreach program!!

We believe that every child deserves access to strong educational support. By partnering with different schools, libraries, and clubs locally, Konnekt Koaching helps spread a deeper passion for reading and understanding. To foster this, we do fun reading comprehension exercises and games, and art projects. So far we have with the Succeed Reading center and the Secaucus Public library primarily, and we hope to expand to make even more of a difference!
Please reach out if your town, libraries, or schools would be interested in having us set up a similar outreach program!!

Across the world, many individuals lack access to essential items needed for daily life. Worldwide Konnektions collects gently used clothes, school supplies, and sanitary items to send to underprivileged communities globally. We have previously shipped to India, Philippines, Uganda, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Syria, Turkey, Tanzania, and are currently working on a shipment to Peru.
If you are interested in donating or volunteering in person for a packing event, please email or contact us via social media or at +1 (551) 359-8985!

Sometimes, a few kind words are all it takes to make someone feel seen. Through Konnekt Kards, our volunteers hand-make thoughtful cards to send to senior centers, hospitals, community fundraisers, and other organizations. In the past, we have created holiday cards, "thank you" notes, "get well soon" cards, and more personalized messages designed to brighten someone’s day.
If you would like hand-written cards made for an event or would like to volunteer to make some for our other initiatives, please reach out!

It's important to recognize that for some, it takes more than medicine to heal. Konnekt Kares is one of our ongoing projects that is aimed at spreading joy and culture. We visit hospitals with children's care facilities and have fun events in order to entertain the children and expose them to different cultures. We read to them, perform for them, do crafts with them, and help them with anything they might need!
Please let us know if you have a contact at a hospital - we would love to spread our reach of this project!

In our Kollege Konvos podcast, we interview current college students to educate high schoolers about various important topics: classes, campus life, internships, etc. In the past, we have had virtual meetings where high school students, and anyone else interested, could converse with past alumni and other college students. Now, our content is available on Youtube, Instagram, and Tiktok (coming soon 👀).
